Amistad Bassguided trips on Lake Amistad
SWIMBAIT FISHING:

If your interest is to visit Lake Amistad and catch a fish of a lifetime then a SWIMBAIT DAY might be for
you. There is no guarantee you'll be successful but your odds to catch a big fish increase 10 fold. There
is usually a small window of opportunity for a giant fish however most of the time quality fish can be
caught throughout the day.

PATIENCE on the part of the fisherman is a large key in being successful when swimbait fishing.
Everyone hopes to catch a record bass but QUITE OFTEN after a half hour of tossing swimbaits most
say nevermind, lets go catch fish of any size. That is why dedication and patience for the entire day is
critical. If you dont have the patience then a full day of SWIMBAIT fishing is not for you. I do know of
several quality fish caught on baits other than swimbaits (13lbr on a finesse drop-shot) but as I mentioned,
SWIMBAITS will increase your odds..

Part of the difference between a regular guide trip and a SWIMBAIT DAY is the tackle, equipment, and
boat preparation. I will provide everything needed however multiple lure loss will need to be discussed.

Most swimbaits used will range from $5 to $50 each but some (for use during select times) can cost as
much as $100 each.

COST:
$500 sunrise to sunset (1 hour break for lunch)
